POLICIES
PROJECT DESIGNS
In all design projects we allow for two full edits, we can either sit down with you (if in our local area) or email a copy of the design to make any corrections. Any edits after the set amount of edits will be $35 per edit (excluding minor edits such as spelling corrections, removing of certain text, ect.). We require the final copy to be signed either by email with the name of the approved project files name typed in the email or in person as approved before it is sent off for print.
PAYMENT POLICY
Payment is due upon completion of the work (unless otherwise noted in JOB ESTIMATE). If the Client chooses to have items printed through the Consultant, payment for both design work and printing cost must be paid before items will be sent for print. If the Client chooses to use a printing service of their own choice, they will not receive the file type or size needed from the Consultant until the price for the completed work has been paid. In case of cancellation please see Project Termination Policy below.
PERMISSIONS AND RELEASES
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Consultant against any and all claims, costs, and expenses, including attorney's fees, due to materials included in the Work at the request of the Client for which no copyright permission or previous release was requested or uses which exceed the uses allowed pursuant to a permission or release.
PHOTOGRAPHY FOR GRAPHICS
Using custom photography on all your design work gives a unique look to your products. We can use stock photos from a site like istockphoto.com if you so wish, but it takes away some of that personal aspect and costs anywhere from $3-$27 depending on the size and quality of the picture. If you are a located near us, we can set up a time for us to come in and take photographs for your print products. If you are not a company located near us, you can hire a local photographer to take your pictures and get a release for the photos to be used on the design work. Our price for photography is $60 an hour and is divided by five minute increments.
PROJECT TERMINATION
Either party may terminate a project giving written notice to the other of such termination. In the event that Work is postponed or terminated at the request of the Client, Consultant shall have the right to bill a pro rated price for work completed through the date of that request, while reserving all rights of the said Project. If additional payment is due, this shall be payable within thirty days of the Client's written notification to stop work. In the event of termination, the Client shall also pay any expenses incurred by Consultant and the Consultant shall own all rights to the Project. The Client shall assume responsibility for all collection of legal fees necessitated by default in payment.
